Walk / bike ride / trail run
Walks, bike rides and trail runs are activities that can be done while easily adhering to social distancing requirements – note requirements, not recommendations.
This website already has many maps and descriptions of suitable rides that can also be used for walks, rides, runs.
However you can add a bit of spice to those activities with a bit of navigation thrown in.

Adventure activities in Daylesford
Head off to Cornish Hill reserve and try the short, medium or long courses on offer (6 if you count doing them in reverse) or plan a DIY course.
You don’t need to leave the tracks.

Choice of method – all free
- download a paper map and print from the local website
- download a map from Avenza to your Android or Ios mobiles
- get MOBO app for orienteering – Android, Ios, WIN mobile
For more info check out the Daylesford Orienteering Project website.
And Ballarat…
In Ballarat and surrounds you can adventure walk / orienteer courses using MyMapRun app. Thanks to Eureka Orienteers, the list is growing.
And regionally…
For towns along the Goldfields Track, plus Ararat, the Great Dividing Trail Assn has downloadable pdfs of walk and ride circuits.

And…
More to come from all the above and hopefully two other bush walking groups. Check back weekly.
